Spherical Roller Bearing

Spherical roller bearings are double row, self-retaining units comprising solid outer rings with a concave raceway, solid inner rings and barrel rollers with cages. The inner rings with cylindrical or tapered bores. The symmetrical barrel rollers freely align themselves to the concave outer ring raceway. As a result, shaft deflections and misalignments of the bearing seats are compensated.

Spherical roller bearing can support so much radial load .It can also accommodate correct axial load. Its outer ring raceway is spherical. So it owns the aligning feature. It still works regularly, when the relative incline angle between inner ring and outer ring is in the range of 1-2.5 °. There are two kinds of spherical roller bearing. One is cylindrical bore, the others is tapered bore. The tapered degree of inner bore is 1:12 or 1:30.There is a ring lubrication groove and three lubrication bores distributed equally on the outer ring for potentiating the lubricating function. This type of bearing is good at enduring heavy load and concussion load. It is particularly suitable for metallurgy, mining, petroleum cement, squeezing sweet ect.
